B&W For chocolate:
Supply high-contrast Black & White line art for best reproduction. (Black areas of art will be raised on chocolate). No half-tones, screens or shades of gray. Smallest type size that can be clearly reproduced is 9 points Sanserif, and 10 points Serif. Typesetting charge at $25. Art charge of $75 per hour for touch-ups and corrections to supplied art if needed.

Digital Art For chocolate:
All files must be on a Mac or PC-formatted Floppy, Zip Disk, CD-R/CD-RW or e-mailed to our Art Department. Acceptable files are Corel Draw 7, Quark Express 5 & lower and all versions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Formats include high
resolution Tiff (at least 400 DPI), Eps or Pdf.

Four-Color Process Wrappers and Printed Inserts:
Both a color copy of art and the art on Mac or PC formatted Floppy or Zip Disc are required. Acceptable files are Corel Draw 7, Quark Express 5 & lower and all versions of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop. Pre-Production Proofs: Match proof, add $80, colors will be 90% accurate. 3M Rainbow Proof, $55, colors will be 60% accurate. This proof is to check positioning of the layout only.

Spot color Wrappers and printed inserts:
Both a color copy of the art and the art on Mac or PC formatted Floppy or Zip Disk are required. Must supply separated film for wrapper/insert jobs having more than 2-colors. Film must be exact size as specs. 1oz. wrapper bar length 5.64" x width 2.75", the front is 2.25" length x 2.75" width. 1 3/4 oz wrapper bar length 5.68" x 4.5" width, the front of wrapper is 2" length x 4.5" width. The CD insert is 4 3/4" x 4 3/4", No spine. If film is produced by us, add $90. If art is not properly prepared on disc, or if manipulation is needed, additional charges will apply. Scans need to be created at 400 dpi or higher. Acceptable files are Corel Draw 7, Quark Expires& lower and all versions of, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Tiff or EPS formats required for pictures and photos. Pre-Production Proofs: $35, colors will be 80% accurate.

Digital Spec Sample:
Artwork sent to us can be used to create a full color sample - a digital representation of any of our chocolate pieces with an imprinted logo (some restrictions apply). a spec sample can be on printed material, a disc or e-mailed. We can create a professional spec sample specifically designed for
you without producing an actual sample.

GENERAL INFORMATION
STANDARD TOOLING & MOLD CHARGE:
$100. All Molds are made in-house to expedite production. No mold charges for generic stock designs (e.g., Happy Holidays, Thank You). All molds remain property of the factory. Three dimensional molds will be quoted on a per job basis.

CHOCOLATE OPTIONS
Dark and white are available at an additional 10%. All of our products are Kosher certified. We can produce a unique variety of shapes & sizes in chocolate. If you don't see it, just ask!

SHELF LIFE
Our Chocolate products have a shelf-life of one year if properly stored at room temperature.

PAPER PROOF / PRODUCTION PROOF
Paper proof on request, no charge. Product Proof $50, to be applied towards mold charge if approved. Allow one week from receipt of camera-ready art.

SPEC SAMPLES
$40,to be applied to the mold charge if an order is placed. If an order results, normal charges such as mold & plate will apply. Spec samples are not available on Foiled Chocolate Squares & Rounds, and Wrapper Bars.

LESS THAN MINIMUM
Imprinted orders $25, Unimprinted orders $12.50. Absolute minimum is half the lowest catalog quantity. LTM is not applicable on Foiled chocolate Squares/Rounds, and Wrapper Bars. October 24th through December 24th less than minimum orders are not available.

PRODUCTION TIME/RUSH SERVICE:
Normal production time is 1-2 weeks after receipt of complete order. Complete order means: Purchase order, artwork, proof approval, enclosure cards, shipping instructions and computer diskette if drop shipment is requested. All order details or any changes to an order must be received in writing. Changes to an order in production may cause a delay in shipment. Rush service available upon request. Rush charge may apply, inquire with factory. Air Freight must be authorized for rush service.

PACKAGING OPTIONS:
Instead of cellophane, chocolates may be wrapped in Gold or Silver foil. Other foil colors available. EC1 $.30; EC2, EC3 $.40; EC5, EC6 $.45. Foiling not available on certain pieces due to their shape. Gold or Silver Elastic Bow, or a Deluxe Ribbon is included with boxes.

SHIPPING:
All orders ship F.O.B. factory, NY via ground unless specified otherwise. Complete and accurate shipping address (no P.O. Box deliveries) must be provided, failure to do so may cause delays. The cost to find and correct zip codes is $4 per package. Factory is not responsible for late deliveries when merchandise is given to carrier on time. C.O.D. shipments not available.
We ship year round. Chocolates shipped during warm months and/or to warm climates are sent either in an insulated carton or via refrigerated truck. For insulated carton, add $15 per carton. When cost effective, larger insulated carton can be used, $25.

SPLIT/DROP SHIPMENTS
Split Shipments (Multiple units to multiple locations) $7.50 per address. If more than 10 locations, we require a diskette in MS Excel (.xls) in requested format.
Drop Shipments (Individual units to multiple locations) Individual shipments require mailers.

MAILING / INSERTIONS
For individual mailings, see Drop Shipment info. For card insertions, add $.10 per piece, if cards are identical. Cards needing to be matched to individual recipients add $1.00 per card. If cards must be enclosed in provided envelopes add $.30.

MAILERS
Available for each size. In bulk: TR 48, SQ 64, and FC 72 $2.25. fC 36, SQ 32, Tin, Wood Box, TR 24, Large Chocolate Box and 1lb truck $2.00. TR 16, SQ 16, FB 16, Small chocolate box, FC 15, EC 6A and EC 6C at $1.50. All others at $1.25.

EXPORT SHIPMENTS
Actual shipping cost plus $20 per destination for additional paperwork. International duties and taxes are billed at a later date.

OVERRUNS / UNDERRUNS
We reserve the right to overrun or underrun by 5% to be billed pro rate.

REPEAT ORDERS
Please furnish our last previous invoice number and the date of the last invoice. No set up or mold charge for exact reorders. For chocolate foiled squares and rounds there is a $20 Set-up Charge per color.

BOX IMPRINTING
Hot Stamp Process: $60 Plate Charge plus $.30 running charge per box per color. Silk Screen Process: $75 screen charge plus $.60 running charge per box per color. For pms match add $30. Preproduction proof is an additional $40 per color. The minimum is 350 boxes. When necessary, a recommendation will be made as to which process would be suitable.

CANCELLATIONS
$50 Cancellation charge plus all applicable charges incurred up to cancellation date will be billed accordingly.

TRADEMARK USAGE
All copy or other materials submitted by the customer for use by us in producing the items ordered will be accepted as being submitted in full compliance with all applicable laws regarding trademark, service mark, copyright, right to privacy, patent or similar protection. Copy and trademarks illustrated in this catalog are used to demonstrate product imprinting and are not actual purchases by the organization shown.
