SCREENS & GRADIENTS
If a spot color has screens and gradients, please send three versions of the spot color in black & white.

2: One version with screens and halftones, clearly indicating the numeric value of the screens and gradients.
3: One version with screens and halftones represented by solid black.

SCREENS:
Due to limitations in our plate making process, any screens less than 25% appear as 0% and screens over 85% appear as 100%. Please do not use screens that are less than 25% or more than 85%.

GRADIENTS:
Despite the limitations mentioned with screens, you can continue using 0% to 100% for the gradients, and we will try and compensate for them.

WORKING WITH ILLUSTRATOR:
1: Save the art on the disk at least 250% of its final size.
Example: If the final art on the product is 2", then the art on disk should be 5"

3: Save each spot color in a separate layer in Illustrator.
4: Label the layers by the spot color name when possible.

6: Use the P.O.# as part of the file name.
7: Save file as a Illustrator EPS format.
